installation of water efficient plumbing fixtures and appliances,
BAWSCA offers several programs and a variety of resources:

NEW!
High-Efficiency Toilet (HET) Rebate Program
What are
HETs? HETs are modern efficient toilets designed
to use at least 20 percent less water than standard low flow
toilets. Although they use less water, they perform well.
This program offers
up to a $150 rebate for the purchase of a new high efficiency
toilet (HET). HETs use 1.28 gallons per flush or less.
To qualify
for a rebate:
Check
your old toilet and determine its flush volume. Rebates are
only offered for the replacement of an older inefficient toilet
(using 3.5 gallons per flush or more) with a new HET .

here to view the list. The exact toilet brand and
model number (bowl and tank) must be on the list of qualifying
toilets in order to qualify for a rebate.
You must have water service
from one of the participating BAWSCA member cities/water agencies.

HETs must
be purchased between September 1 st 2008 and December 31 st
2008. Toilet installation and application postmark must be
completed within 90 days of purchase date.

To apply for
a rebate:
Download
and print the program
brochure and application form.
Fill out
the application form and send it along with the original receipt
for your HET and mail to BAWSCA, 155 Bovet Road, Suite 302,
San Mateo, CA 94402
Your application form
will be reviewed and processed by your participating city
or water agency and if approved you will receive your rebate
in up to eight weeks from receipt by BAWSCA.

Clothes Washers

BAWSCA's new Residential Washing Machine Rebate Program (WMRP)
with PG&E!
This program offers a combined water and energy rebate to
customers who purchase qualifying efficient clothes washers.
Now you can get a water and energy rebate at the same time
by filling out one convenient application form.

How
to qualify for a rebate
1) Check the list of qualifying machines before you buy.
Click

2) To qualify for
the energy portion of the rebate, you must have either natural
gas or electricity distributed by PG&E to the instatllation
addres.
3) To qualify for
the water portion of the rebate, you must have water service
from one of the participating BAWSCA member water agencies.
